Thanks Potto for jarring Efish into this great idea.
The best photo submission, judged by half a dozen pre-selected, annonymous and ELIGIBLE readers, will win something bitchen from the site and participating sponsors.

1.There is no special catagory so post in any Forum catagory from any region.
2.Every (current) picture published with your post is a submission.
3. To keep it fair, interesting and progressive, only photos taken during the contest period will be considered.
4. The judges will be mandated to keep it fun and will be looking for action shots, angler/fish/kayak and particularly striking kayak fishing images.  Lousy quality pix (from cheap, one-time use cameras) have as good a chance to win as "glamour-shots".  High resolution photos have a better chance of ever being seen again.
5. To collect the spoils (prize), Contest Winners are required to sign a release for Kayakfishing.com to use/sell/forward the image for promotional purposes.

Due to the newness and need to get this thing sponsored, let's award a prize every 60 days starting August 1st.  This time we'll give away a SOSPENDERS PFD inflatable lifejacket.  Retail Value is over $100 bucks.  It would be nice to have a monthly contest where we give away a rod, reel or useful piece of equipment and that's how we'll work it forward.
In the meantime, the contest is on!
Good luck!

Like Spike said, if it was not for Potto and his photo posts I would have not thought of this.  To be honest the photo I like the most is the shot with all three working together to land the beast.  Don't get me wrong fighting shots are great, but the other just brought me back to a time when I used to fish with small groups. (Spike Howie,Lou,) and always a few more. Grin
Can't wait to see what gets sent in.
Peace Out
EFISH

Outstanding! I love the stories, but photos make a post so much more interesting. I'm a photographer, but seldom take my own pictures, maybe this will get me off of my ass and encourage me to take a camera along. If you need help let me know.

I'm submitting this picture called "Falcon's Flatty."  It is from a private collection and is a very rare photo with a great story.
Look very close at this picture.  Do you see a white Mogombo in the fish's side?  This fish was hooked there and fought up from nealry 80' of water.
The photo incompases both spirit and adventure of raw kayak fishing

That was a good day.  Reminds me of when I used to catch Halibut!   Thanks for the submission Bob.
