Weather predictions look favorable for both days and surf seems manageable, so I'll be launching at Westward around 7:30 for the usual run for reds, bococks, and dabs. Join me if so inclined.
Havn't heard any reports from anywhere else, County line or Leo? Or anybody fished around Sycamore Canyon area lately? Maybe I'll try somewhere else on Sunday if it's crappy at Westward on Saturday.
Bring Squid and cold beer...

Still digging sand from my ears and nose after todays almost sucessful landing. Georgeous conditions notwithstanding, I timed it perfect between sets and paddled right onto dry sand, jumped out and grabbed the handle on the bow of my kayak, only to have it slip from my hand, get drug back out with the wave receading and have the next shore pound pick up my yak, flip it over and drive it into me before I could jump out of the way. Whomp! Major soaking faceplant with sand jammed into all tackle and angler oriffices. Damn, so close.
Anyway, good times fishing with Vinny, Leo, and Jeff, Bigboy, and Garrity. All caught the usual deep dudes; Reds, Dabs, and our favorite, Salmon Grouper!
Sunny and calm with lots of nubile vixens cavorting on the beach. Wonder what the poor people are doing? Heard someone caught a WSB up at Leo, sure hope they make a showing...
TL,
Scott
PS- Juest read on Big Waters Edge that white sea bass are being caught  down in LJ and the WSB are up and down the coast waiting for the temp to go up and trigger a spawn. If the squid show up be ready for an epic bite...Trancas anyone?
