Planning on launching at CL around 8am on March 31st. Not sure what the swell will be like at that time, but will only cancel if reports indicate anything greater than 2-3 feet. Launch will be close to low tide, so I expect a pretty wide breaker zone.
Haven't been to CL for a few years, but I remember it being pretty good in the early spring.

to bring a 50 lb. White Sea Bass home this year. Be sure to bring a 30lb.+ rig with you and dead stick a live mac of whole dead squid for a WSB. There out there waiting for all hell to break loose (temp increase, spawn, squid run) and you might just be there at the right time. Try paddling up to the Deep Hole area as well.
Good Luck
