Arrived at County Line yesterday and I watched two kayakers try to make it back in.
Crazy I tell you. The surf was up. Surfers everywhere on the beach. Parking on both sides of the road.
If you were a surfer, yesterday was good.

My pictures really do not do justice to how many surfers were on the water.
As for the kayakers. It was the first time I have seen the Tapon 160 pearl.
I wish I took pictures, but I could not. It had to do with the fact I was on that thing when it did the nose dive.

Talk about a beating yesterday.
The morning surf was okay, but by the time we set up and ready to go, it was pumping.
Before even getting on the kayak, our kayaks flipped on the incoming surf.
What looked to be a window, I launched only to take one in the face. Blech! With the
taste of salt water and riding the swell, I started to feel oozy.
As for the fishing part. Dolphins and bird diving everywhere. No seals. (I bet there were hanging at Leo). No shortage of Sandbass, they were all over the place.

The sun never really came out and warmed us up. We were both soaking wet. A little chill and we wanted to get back in.
On the way in we see the entire County Line covered with surfers.
We both bit it on the way in. There was some collateral damage but that is the price of war.
I am glad I unhooked my paddle leash before the crash and was surprised to find my seat cushion back on the beach.
Fishing was good. Hope some of you made it out, because the activity on the water was excellent.
