Another visit to the Dermatologist was in order today.   Angry
I usually wear a hat and long sleeves, but that was not enough.  For it was my face that needs cutting.
From now on, I will wear sun block for ever time I see the ocean, not just kayak on it.

SPF clothes are expensive.  Do you guys have any recommendations?  My GTS long sleeve is getting old and has many holes.  Input is appreciated.

Wow, that's a bummer. I was gonna say...   you outta wear sunglasses more often, too.

I wear them all the time, but the doc says I already have cateracts forming.

That sucks!!!!  Check the close out racks at the sporting good stores.  I always see last years SPF shirts going on sale when they bring in their new line.  (Fred Hall show )  should be able to find something cheep enough.
Peace Out

You can get spf-rated head, upper body, and hand protection for under $30 plus shipping at STP, less if you get discount codes.

I bought the same items 2 years ago, they've held up to more than 40 days fishing so far, and yes it all gets machine washed every time. Farmer john, booties, sunscreen, lifeguard hat, and shades to cover the rest.

2 days to rockfish... without Plan B sometimes you don't bother with Plan A.

Thanks for the links to the shirts.

I bought a few and finally had a chance to wear one today.  Looks nice and made out of Ray...something.
So far so good.

I liked my mountain bike shirt better.  It always stayed dry.  These shirts made out of rayon gets wet and stays wet.
The SPF 45 part of them is good, but I get cold.  no bueno!
