Manny and I are gonna head out somewhere in Malibu. Other than the sandbass bite its been real slow. Not a football fan so I will not pass up a day which is supposed to be beautiful. Post if you would like to go. Most probably Leo. Ch 68.

After the work I did this week, I need to get on some glassy water and fish, damnit. But your right, no raging reports of wide open action in this neck of the woods. Guess it's up to us. I hate to get on the freeway and run south, buttttt.....
Heard of anything happening down south Redondo, Palos Verdes, or north, Carpenteria, Rincon? Some crazy dude caught  a butt or two around Sycamore/ Pt. Mugu area? Maybe we'll poach his turf....Maybe Topanga up to Big Rock? Troutdale??
Keep me posted BB

Whats up BigBoy !!  I am going to pound some sand and look for the all mighty flat fish.  Thinking about the north side of the canyon to the life guard station.  Not as much fun as a paddle to deep hole, but I just finished up the install on my fishfinder (cut a hole in the bottom of the boat) and patched it in.  NO MORE AIR BUBBLES!!!!  Figure I will stay within sight of the beach for it's first time out.  Not that I have any question about the job I did, but.......... better safe then sorry.  I'll make sure to have my hand pump just in case.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Cool
Peace Out

Dune canyon, gate opens at 7:00 pay lot at the end.  Same place I saw you that day with Spike and Toad, and all the fire trucks Cool Cool Cool..  I'll be there by 7:30, with a big box of frozen squid.  We'll find the butts and the bass.
Peace Out

CountyLine was flat.  Fishing was flat, but watching the whale was cool.

Glad you guys had a nice day!

I went down to SD and ended up taking the spear out before the super bowl.  This guy was in pretty shallow.
