Kayaking Los Barriles I February

Hey all,
Staying on the beach for nine days in mid-February. Have use of a two-man sea Kayak. The wife and I will have one surf rod/spinning reel and an 8 weight flyrod. Looking for suggestions, tips & recommendations. Spoons, jigs, translucent white Rapalas, etc. have been packed.
Any input welcome!

Take a small milkcrate with 4 pieces of tube and some zip ties for a rod holder for your rental kayak. You can get tandems rigged for fishing from the dive shop in Buena vista.
Pull all those lures around and some whole squid too.
In the day, the boats fished right out front of LB. The water turns blue within a few casts of the beach. Today, the nearshore is lightly pressured and some big fish come through. Buy some squid at Tio Pablos department store and fish it whole. Look for bait sellers in the morning and fill a bait tube.
Call me if you need more detail.
