Smiley Hello to all Just wanted to introduce myself to the group . I'm new to kayak fishing. Just started last season. Ive been fishing CT/ New England waters , fresh and salt all my life. I knew that getting a kayak would open up a lot of new fishing areas, and finally decided to invest in one. It turned out to be one of my better decisions. I have a lot to learn but still managed to catch some quality striped bass and bluefish my first season in a kayak. I'm definetly hooked! Unfortunetly the weather up here has been much more conductive to cruising fishing websites than tossing plugs for striped bass. So here I am. There certainly is quite a lot of information here to absorb. A big thank you to all and I look forward to learning from everyone.

Thanks for posting, You'll get some great local info off the striper site on our Links Page if you haven't found it already.  About the only fish I'll eat in a restraunt here is wild caught Atlantic striped bass.  One of the best!  I look forward to your posts when it thaws and maybe we'll hook up sometime.
