I just bought a 5th wheel trailer , now I need to find a good rack for the top of the trailer. and system to get it on the top. Anyone have a suggestion of what to use. Or do I need to make something.

I'd go with foam blocks.  Can you install a few eyebolts into the roof if you don't have riggings to tie them down?

There is a guy names Carl from New York that does a lot of kayak fishing tourneys.  He has a RV with an improvised mechanical rack system that actually picks up the kayaks and puts them on the roof.

don't know how much modification you are into but I helped a friend set up the rear window of his motorhome with hinges and corner locks for storing and transporting his scupper pro inside

The big name rack makers make lifters that could help the cause.  Real expensive though. My buddy has one on his pickup shell rack and it pops right up once in the cradle. I like the back window method enough to outweigh the risk of making the modification.  I'd start bagging the kayak with a kayak cover for inside storage too.

I was able to use a yakama highrise and some pipe for the rack. And have an Idea how to get the kayak on top as well thanks.
