If anyone is going to be in the area anytime, let me know. I live in Nashville but fish Kentucky and Barkley Lakes regularly. There are some monster Bass. You can troll for HUGE catfish as well.

I'm in, thanks for posting.  What bait do you use for trolling up catfish?  Day or night fishing?

Trolling for cats using cut shad. It can be done both night and day but probably safer kayak wise during the day. Trolling the main river channel at night in a kayak could get a bit dicey. However, it sure would be an adventure if you had a big cat on and were trying to dodge a barge. Grin

Do you ever get to the area?
