Got my first redfish this morning.  28" by my thumb to pinkie gage.  Put a soft plastic rigged weedless about 6' to the side of the fish and watched it turn to go after it in 1' of water.  This stuff is exciting.

Jay (one of the partners from the yak shop) caught one guesstimated at 40#.  Show off.

Stood up in the Native Ultimate today.  I didn't fall in, but I didn't do SoCal surfers proud either.
