WSB/Yellow Tail equipment for the cove?

I have a jigmaster that is reinforced with an accuframe that I would like to use on my kayak for WSB. I heard that its best to use a braided line with a leader when using live bait? Can anyone recommend
1) Their favorite brand of braid and pound test?
2) How long a leader to fish from the braid?
3) What test flurocarbon leader to fish with the recommended braid?
Thanks in advance for your help and I hope everyone has a great spring at the local.

Hi Yakmando,
I use braid only to fish deep for cod. If you hook a sizable WSB or tail you may want your line to stretch a bit to prevent a break-off. That's just my opinion.
Let us know how it turns out.

I have long preached about the dangers of spectra on kayaks and recommended it for rockfish only. As time goes on, I'm learning about its many benefits that include a variety of uses. I'll post more as soon as I did it up.
