Redondo Beach to Malaga Cove

Late report. Paddled out last Saturday. I was planning to fish to the north for Sandbass and Halibut. Once outside the harbor, I changed my mind because of the nice flat conditions and headed for the PV peninsula. Got there in about an hour. Made some bait, but only got spanish macs, no dines. Flylined outside the kelp line with a small sliding sinker hoping for a WSB or a tail. Nada. The baits were a bit too big for the Calicos. Nice day on the water. I'll try again this Saturday, it's gonna happen one of these days.
