My wife and I rented an Aire Tomcat inflatable tandem for the weekend at Rogue-Elk park.  The only way I could fish, however, was to tie it up and wade.  My 4 lb kayak anchor wouldn't hold it against the current and my wife wasn't that good at back paddling.  I got one nice native trout and released it.  (In the Klamath, they would call it a half pound steelhead.)  Some people were catching salmon just below the hatchery.  In this part of the river, I probably could have used my regular fishing kayak, which I didn't bring.
