Fished Escondido today, Monday, landed around noon, put all my gear by the gate, got my kayak next to bus bench, got my van, parked it, loaded my kayak on rack, tied down and drove off. Got home at Pt. Dume, went to wash off gear. LEFT IT AT THE GATE AT ESCONDIDO! DOH! Raced back but it was all gone. Been struggling to kick myself in the ass all day. I'm so fugging stupid!
Lost: 4 rods and reels, 2 spinning, two conventional. Surf to Summit seat with rod holders, boga grip, gaff, box of lures and tackle. Eagle fish finder. Bilge pump, 2 piece paddle. Basically everything. If anybody found this stuff, big reward! CURSES!!!

Got a call last night from Zuman that Pat Pascal and friend Kelly, saw my stuff sitting there at the Escondido gate, and no one around, grabbed it and kept it safe in his garage.
Thanks to the many kayakfishers here and on Kayaksportfishing.com, who had offered replacement gear. (Damn, now I'll have to fish with the same old crap!) Anyway, my faith has been restored. Halleluja!
Tight Lines,
-Scott
