fished esco today. launched early about 6:15 to very little shorebreak and beautiful glassy conditions. met my friend CJ on the water. he had his stand up paddle board and we paddled together for a while. i spent the first hour and half working the edges of the kelp with a perfect sized mackeral and ended up with a legal halibut 25". it wasnt a monster but it was perfect size for dinner tonight and it was pretty darn thick. after the hali i decided to head home to spend the rest of the day working up an appetite for dinner. The water out there is perfect right now. glassy with barely any wind. if you can get out this weekend do it.
