Late report:
Fished Sunday from Leo North Beach.  John got quesy and went in, Falcon joined Maike and Steve and I fashionably late.  It was a beautiful day with seals and dolphin feeding hard.  I saw a few baby dolphin about 24" long jumping next to their moms.

The halibut were chewing our fresh sardines and wouldn't swallow the bait.  A trap rig would have produced a bite...looking back.  Some nice bass and a lost dogfish rounded out the day.  Those flatfish will turn on anytime.  I've seen a few reports but this is the time of year for many halibut days.
