action watersports in marina del rey

i called them to get a quote for a kayak. i spoke with cory who gave me a qoute of $621 which i promptly wrote down on a piece of paper. then next day i drive to the store (over 30 minutes away) to order the kayak. when i get there they ask me how much i was quoted on the phone so i tell cory that i would like to hear how much it was. they look it up on their computer and tell me its $675! in shock i tell cory that he quoted me $621 yesterday. he tells me then i'll charge you $625. i tell him that he said it was $621 yesterday and he says that i probably didnt remember correctly. he says its just $4 whats the big deal. i tell him its the principle of the matter (i've bought from them before and its not like i havent spent at least a thousand dollars there already). i tell him i wrote it down and that they should honor the 621. cory tells me then you should have ordered it yesterday. disgusted with the service i left the store. when i got home i looked at the paper where i wrote down his quote and it said $621 just like i thought. these guys lost a customer over $4. i would not recommend this shop to anyone. there are alot of surf and watersport shops out here in socal that will be easier to deal with than these guys.
